Task: MITM attack on BB84-like QKD protocol as a compromised Trusted Node between Alice and Bob. Solution: Exploit Photon Number Splitting (PNS) vulnerability by measuring k>=2 qubit copies in both Z and X bases, then substitute gates during basis reconciliation to recover the quantum key.
